There are number of knols having 100,000 page views. All KAF members can visualize better future ahead for Knol. It will be very good 2011 for Knol, Knol authors and KAF members.

Knol is designed to be a giant non-traditional public library, the largest ever built by mankind. To achieve that goal Knol authors need to help Google configure the Knol Library to become a linked series of specialized academic discipline libraries along with a large public library for general audiences. We are happy now that Knol can be ranked as Top 1000 Website on monthly unique visitors basis.
This page is like an index that is filled with different chapters. What we must do as Knol Authors is to fill each Chapter with knol writers and knols. As more authors join and write knols the chapters and library will fill up with useful and valuable information.
A library has many books on different subjects. Some are very broad in nature and useful and informative to many readers. Other are specialized in a specific field and and have a smaller reader base. Still others may not be as high quality and are read by few readers.
Just as in a library, you don't throw out what is not considered top rate. The library is a mixture of everthing. The choice is there to pick what interests you.
The Knol Author Foundation operates on the same premise. Unlike other groups on knol where you may have to apply and have proven authorship via Knol metrics and peer acceptance, we are different. Our intention is not to form an elite group. If you publish a knol than is not spam, we welcome you as a fellow author. Join the foundation and actively help Knol to grow.

Top 5 languages of the World
1. Chinese - There are between seven and thirteen main regional groups of Chinese (depending on classification scheme), of which the most spoken, by far, is Mandarin (about 850 million), followed by Wu (90 million), Cantonese (Yue) (70 million) and Min (70 million). [59] Chinese exists in a number of varieties that are popularly called dialects but that are usually classified as separate languages by scholars. More people speak a variety of Chinese as a native language than any other language in the world, and Modern Standard Chinese is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. [7]
2. Spanish- The Spanish language is a Romance language (Indo-European family) spoken by more than 358 million people in Spain, the Americas, Australia, and Africa. In the early 21st century, Mexico had the greatest number of speakers (more than 85 million), followed by Colombia (more than 40 million), Argentina (more than 35 million), the United States (more than 31 million), and Spain (more than 30 million). Spanish was the official language of all these countries except the United States. The earliest written materials in Spanish, in the form of glosses on Latin texts, date from the 10th century, and works of literature in Spanish first appeared about 1150[45] In Spain this language is generally called español (Spanish) when contrasting it with languages of other countries, such as French and English, but it is called castellano (Castilian, the language of the Castile region) when contrasting it with other languages spoken in Spain, such as Galician, Basque, and Catalan. [59]Latin, the basic foundation of the Spanish language, was introduced to the Iberian Peninsula by Romans during the Second Punic War around 210 BC. During the 5th century, Hispania was invaded by Germanic Vandals, Suevi, Alans, and Visigoths, resulting in numerous dialects of Vulgar Latin. [60]
3. English- English is a West Germanic language that developed in England and south-eastern Scotland during the Anglo-Saxon era. It is a language related to Dutch, Frisian and German with much of it deriving from French, Latin, Greek and many other languages. [58] Approximately 341 million people speak English as a native language and a further 267 million speak it as a second language in over 104 countries. [59] English belongs to the Indo-European family of languages and is therefore related to most other languages spoken in Europe and western Asia from Iceland to India. The parent tongue, called Proto-Indo-European, was spoken about 5,000 years ago by nomads believed to have roamed the southeast European plains. Germanic, one of the language groups descended from this ancestral speech, is usually divided by scholars into three regional groups: East (Burgundian, Vandal, and Gothic, all extinct), North (Icelandic, Faeroese, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish), and West (German, Netherlandic [Dutch and Flemish], Frisian, English). [12]
4. Hindi- Hindi is an Indo-Aryan language with about 490 million speakers who use it as a first language and up to 225 million who use it as a second language. Although there is no specific time frame, Hindi originated as local dialects such as Braj, Awadhi, and finally Khari Boli after the turn of tenth century. [59] Many more hundreds of thousands speak Hindi as a second language. Literary Hindi, written in the Devanagari script, shows a strong influence of Sanskrit as a source for borrowings; it is based on the Khari Boli dialect, to the north and east of Delhi. Also commonly treated as dialects of Hindi are Braj Bhasa, which was an important literary medium from the 15th to the 17th century; Awadhi, also a literary medium; and Bagheli, Chattisgarhi, Bundeli, and Kanauji. 5. Arabic- Modern Standard Arabic is the universal language of the Arabic-speaking world and all arabic speakers understand it. In the Middle East and North Africa it is the first language that is spoken by 280 million people. 250 million speak it as a second language. [60] Arabic is the language of the Qurʾān (or Koran, the sacred book of Islam) and the religious language of all Muslims. Literary Arabic, usually called Classical Arabic, is essentially the form of the language found in the Qurʾān, with some modifications necessary for its use in modern times; it is uniform throughout the Arab world. [3]
A striking fact shown in is that there is a huge disparity between the mean size of languages and the median size. It turns out that 389 (or nearly 6%) of the world’s languages have at least one million speakers and account for 94% of the world’s population. By contrast, the remaining 94% of languages are spoken by only 6% of the world’s people.
