Each Registered User may submit multiple entries during the Open Call for Submissions; however, only the highest ranked knol from each Registered User, as determined by Google in its sole discretion during the course of the initial ranking process, will be counted for purposes of final judging. Any editing of a knol must be complete by last day of submission period.

Importance of Subject Matter
Interest Level
Overall Impression

Based on the Panel’s scores and Sponsors’ discretion, up to five (5) Entries will be selected as “Potential Winners” one of which will be deemed, the Potential Grand Prize Winner; In the event of a tie, all tied entries will be re-judged by an additional judge selected by Wiley, who, using the judging criteria will break the tie. In the event that there are not enough eligible entries (in Sponsors’ discretion), Sponsors may choose to select less than five (5) Potential Winners. Knol for Dummies.com competition

I am excited to announce the Knol for Dummies.com competition. I'm particularly excited about this contest because I'm an avid fan of "For Dummies" books. Wrote Matt Ghering, Product Marketing Manager

http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/how-to-become-dummiescom-author.html

I am also excited about the contest. As a blogger I saw on the blogger dash board that knol is open for public writing on 24th July 2008. Immediately, I entered the knol platform and started writing. The contest idea is an interesting one. Authors first of all have an urge to write. When they are offered ready audience for it they do get excited. Then some monetary incentives, they will be thrilled. On top of it, an opportunity for publication of the book.

I wish the contest all success.
