Knols also serve similar purpose and one can leverage the ability of collaboration in case of a knol. All the alumni of the institute can be brought into the academic activities of the institute by asking all alumni to contribute to the various knols of the institute, faculty and current students. Such an invitation will be able to capture the interesting incidents in the real life experience of alumni one by one at a pace convenient to the alumni and provide that experience to current students and faculty to think over, understand and discuss the relevance of basic priciples and theories to real life issues.
